Brian has been studying blues and finger style guitar for almost twenty years. He keeps his feet planted firmly in the sounds of the past, but is not afraid to put his own stamp on things. With more than a decade of playing out professionally, both solo and with several bands, Brian has made quite a name for himself in the St. Louis area and the entire Midwest. With Folk’n BluesGrass he is the key ingredient in making the blues meet the grass. Outside the band he has released two solo albums, where his finger picking and slide guitar shine through and through. On stage Brian puts on a great show and always gets the audience involved. He is known to sometimes tell as many stories and jokes to the listeners as songs.
