FolknBluesGrass is a four piece acoustic group based in St.Louis, Missouri. The band performs their own unique style of folk, blues and bluegrass (hence the name).

They got their start in 2005 as a trio consisting of Brian Curran on guitar, Steve Bauer on mandolin, and Travis King on doghouse bass. They played three to four nights a week at some of the top venues in St.Louis. Fred Altiere joined the band in early 2006 with his friend Gig the frog.

With Fred adding washboard, kazoo and percussion the band was complete. FolknBluesGrass has turned into a hand clapping, foot stomping ball of fun that is a must see for anyone with a love for acoustic music.
