Howard Young Howard began playing harmonica 40 years ago in college. He first began performing acoustic style blues in the coffee houses and clubs in Columbia, MO. Early influences were Sonny Terry, Shaky Jake Harris and Sonny Boy Williamson. Over the past 15 years Howard has played a variety of music styles with a considerable number of acoustic and electric groups in the St. Louis area. His favorite has always been acoustic-style playing due to the pure and expressiveness nature of the music. When his schedule permits him to join in, this part-time member of the group lays down rhythm, fills and leads that pushes the over-all energy up another notch.
